Objects
Students take a complete journey through the eight parts of speech—nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections. Along the way, they also learn about articles, direct objects, indirect objects, and predicate adjectives to see how these elements function in real sentences. We take a deep dive into the various types of nouns (common, proper, abstract, collective, compound, possessive, and more) and verbs (action, linking, helping, transitive, intransitive) so students gain a clear understanding of how words work together. This solid foundation helps them not just label words, but also see their purpose and role in effective communication.
